Citebase Search is a semi-autonomous citation index. It harvests pre- and post- prints (most author self-archived) from free OAI-PMH compliant archives, parses and links their references and indexes the metadata in a search engine.
Citebase Search is developed and maintained by Tim Brody at the University of Southampton. Developed out of the Open Citation Project it has grown to be a useful resource for users of the physics arXiv.org, from which it is linked.
These figures reflect the number of computer records within Citebase, and not necessarily real-life values. E.g. references are parsed automatically so the actual number of references for the given number of papers may be significantly different.
* Many records from ECS EPrints and Soton EPrints do not have an associated freely accessible full-texts.
Usage statistics generated from the Web logs of Citebase.
